I have tested lots of browsers and have finally found the one that I feel works best with BANDA

It is Opera! Not only does everything display perfectly ... but also features that other browsers don't like work in Opera!

For example did you know you can hide the side widgets using the pink button on the top left of the widgets? Opera is the best browser to use if you want to use that feature and view the forum full page width.

Opera really is a fantastic browser in general though, it has its own great widgets and will even act as your email inbox!

As you may have seen we no longer carry links to Kiddicare, this is because they left the Affiliate program at the end of April.

I am happy to announce that we have been successful in applying to be an Affiliate for the Early Learning Centre!

I've added our own FAQ Page, the previous one was a default for the type of forum and so some things weren't exactly how we have them, besides we have a few things that aren't standard.

The new page is on the same link as before, up the on the top menu.

If you spot any errors, or anything doesn't make sense can you let me know so I can rectify as I could look at it for 5 minutes and be blind to the errors cos I've been staring at it for so long!

I have created some new usergroups, for the Night Out, The Big Toddle and the Picnic.

These are open groups that you can join if you are attending.

What this means is that you will receive any group emails regarding that event; or if you need to send an important message to everyone who is attending.

Group emails are useful for important information as you may miss threads/posts containing such info.

You can see the groups by clicking 'View' and then 'UserGroups' from the top menu. Then if you need to join new groups you can by selecting it from the...

Another part of the 'project' is ready!

We now have our own ticker site - where you can make pretty much any date ticker. (and I'm working on the weight loss one right now, and then will look at mini tickers)

This project was a bit fiddly, so I have tested and tested, but if you do find any little glitches (I hope you don't!) then please let me know so I can fix it!

We are now the proud owners of a website!

We are still working on the website content, however rather than wait until it is complete I will be rolling things out as they become ready.

The first part that is ready is the BANDA Blog. This is where anyone who wants to can write informative blogs about pregnancy and babies - you can see the current articles to give you an idea of how it will be.

We have been accepted for our final affiliate advertiser - Kiddicare!

So we have Mothercare and Kiddicare now, the 2 largest baby suppliers online!

Remember if you want to use any of these shops that using the link from the adverts on this page gives banda a fee, usually around 4-5% of the sale value!

Update 3/5/2011 Kiddicare is now not using affiliates, so we won't have their links on the forum from now on. I am looking at some good replacements.

I am pleased to say that Banda has been accepted by Mothercare to advertise Mothercare & ELC items!!!
