your worktops , are they clear or cluttered ?

i normally hate clutter with a passion but recently have had to let it happen, danielle stoys in my living room as she has no bedroom etc

anyways i like to have my kitchen worktops clear from things other than kettle toaster etc currently they have on them

deep fat frier
kettle
2 x cafietire ( sp )
spinning spice rack
wire thingy with sauces in them
microwave ( with crap dumped on top Sad )
knife block
steamer
blender
toaster
breadbin !
thats a load of stuff to be on worktops in a small kitchen !
i aim to spend my afternoon while OH is at work gutting my kitchen and having lots of space again

do you have cluttered worktops in your kitchen ?

Im a neat freak... ours has:

Kettle
Toaster
Microwave
Steriliser
Weighing Scales
Knife Block

They all match too (apart from the sterliser, which looks totally out of place, lol!)

I'm not a fan of clutter, but I do like my 'often used items' at hand.
I spent years living in a house with a tiny kitchen that had 1 long work top and it did my nut in.
Now I have the best kitchen with TONS of worktop space and I love it. Very Happy

Mine are quite clear but you can't see the worktops (or the floor) in the utility room for washing and crap that I move from the kitchen.

But my kitchen table is a mess it's full of letters, toys and other ellie belongings.

I hate to admit but there's usually a cat on the table too!

zee i love your kitchen

baby milly ,,, one thing i hate is my dining table being full of junk ,,, i like it to be totally clear , we grew up without a dining table , small kitchen no extra room so we ate of our laps , i refuse to give anyone in my house reason not to eat at the table Smile

my kitchen worktops are now clear of everything but micro , toaster , kettle and knife block ! i wonder how long it will stay that way though Sad oh and a chopping block that is same colour /design as my worktop so it does not count as it blends in lol !

we came from a very small kitchen, which was too cluttered, but we had no choice, to a nvery long kitchen, which is lovely, adjoining utility helps too, its spacious and we have room to move and i have a space sorted for the steriliser already
