Took C to a local park today and she was having a whale of a time. She climbed up the tower and peeped out the top, walked up a slope on her own without falling, rode the rocking horse and went on the slide - actually threw herself down it i only just got to her in time to catch her.

But this horrible little girl who must have been about 7 went up to her while she was on the platform for the slide looking through the planks at me giggling and got right up in her face saying 'THIS IS FOR BIG GIRLS'. I was actually quite calm considering i nearly picked the little shit up by her hair and kicked her ass. I came round the other side so the girl could see me and said 'shes not doing any harm'. The girl who hadnt seen me up til then said 'but this is for big girls' and i said 'shes only looking out the side, shes only one let her play'. The girl then ran off running to her mum to whine who i heard telling her to let C be. When she came back she was swinging on one of the bars landing so her feet thumped down right next to C. Luckily Caelyn was unpeturbed by the entire thing and ignored her totally.

I can see im not gonna be good at playground politics

I also hate it when older kids go on the young kids things at playgrounds. It really bugs me!

Oh this is why I hate taking Libby to parks/softplay etc. Theres always one whether it be boy or girl that think they are clever and have to show off I'm the same though, really find it hard biting my toungue.

I think if it had been a kid closer to her own age or she'd bveen older and able to stand up for herself id have been prone to letting things play out and see how c was with other kids but jeez this girl was 3 times her size

Well done you for handeling it so well. I have to say that I find it hard to know what to say as my instant reaction is to tell them to feck off and play somewhere else, regardless of their age

My friends and I went to an adventure park last week and my friends LO went over to play with these boys and the stood up and pushed her head away I got all defensive and went over and gave them a telling off, needless to say they didn't bother us again. And Karma came to bite the boys arse when his friend flew down the slide and kicked him in the chops haha.

Although, my LO is becoming some what of a bully He was playing with a boy who was probably about a month or so younger than Oliver (but bacause Oliver's quite tall, people think he's much older and should know better ) Anyhoo, this little boy started walking off and Oliver went over and 'dragged' him back to play , not funny really,I was trying to get Oliver to say sorry (which he usually does by kissing them lol) but not with strangers..but he did say sorry in his own way

I would of told her that the "play area" wasn't for snotty little nosed brats either..and she better get moving or I would call the playground police to come and take her to prison! You are way too nice! xxx

Those hyper sweaty red faced ones would be my 2 then! Lol! They are both careful when little ones are about and Jake especially makes sure the littler ones get turns on things when the parks are busy!

ahh i hate kids like that, i think id have probibly told her in a not so nice way that anyone can play, so stop being nasty

although i hate it when you get like 6 yr olds running around like maniacs in the baby/toddler areas...do these kids not have parents??? if leo was to go in there id tell him no he's too big and could hurt the babies, i had to tell a few kids off for nearly splattering oliver in the baby area the other week, it pisses me off big style why i should be telling them and not their parents x

LMAO..I'm one of those parents that can threaten kids and do it with a big warm smile on my face! So when they run off to mom bawling from the verbal trauma I unleashed..I can act all innocent! Hate bratty kids..been dealing with them forever! xxx

Jake used to go in the baby bits when Aron was little but was under strict instruction/supervision not to squash any little people! I get quite narky at parents who can't/don't control their kids!

thats fair enough, its the ones bounding about like mad heads i mean, with no younger siblings who's parents dont give a crap

Aw gemz leo was the sweetest little boy ive ever met in birmingham, he was brill with the lo's. He spent ages pushing c on the roundabout
