We are going to stay with the in-laws soon again, but now Tayla is in her big girls bed at home should i buy a new fold up bed thing or let her sleep in her travel cot? I know what shes like though and will climb out of the travel cot....but if shes in a fold up bed she will no doubt get up and wonder and theres no baby gates any nothing is baby proofed?

We still put Imogen in her travel cot when we stay with family. It's so much easier, she can't climb out of it, can Tayla deff climb out of hers? On holiday we couldnt fit the travel cot in her room with the beds that were in there so she had to have her in a bed, she was an angel some nights and a complete nightmare the others. Depended on how tired she was. Could make sure you completely tire Tayla before putting her to bed, or just thought could you get one of those travel baby gates?

What about one of those inflatable kids beds? I think Thomas has one when he stays with his Nanna (Debs) and he loves it. If you get her a character one, she may want to stay in it, as its fun! x

| Oh i'd forgotten about those we were thinking of getting one of those a while ago so if you get one Terri let me know how Tayla gets on it in. The character wouldn't make Immi stay in bed though, it would probably get her more excited. I was going to go for the generic one...

Also, if your worried about her getting out of bed and wondering you could always get one of those foldaway/ extendible safety gates http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lindam-44372-Flexiguard/dp/B000UJB65Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1306357320&sr=8-2
