just wondered, every time paige naps n wakes up she is all cry and moody for ages n wont go to any one but me. its doing me in really as it stops me from doing what i was dooing and i feel bad for perry as when he tries to take her she crys more and puts her hands out to me.

any one else kids do this? how do i stop it? i cant have it going on when trent is here.. ive also noticed she has gotten worse since we have moved in the inlaws place

The only thing i can do to stop her is to stick her in the car and go for a drive (it's costing me fortune in fuel).

I think it's just a phase they all go through tbh hun. Thomas went through it but seems fine now unless he wakes too soon then its like ww3 for 20 minutes

Yep, Oliver went through the very same stage a few months back.

I found he was doing it when he'd woke or been woken to early from his nap, like if he woke mid sleep-cycle (he only ever did it after his nap) or if he hadn't had enough sleep for his nap. I started putting him down for his nap a bit earlier and that seemed to solve the problem. Also I used to pop his dvd on low in his room at 4pm, left him some juice and he'd just wake/come round on his own..and he'd wake in a much better mood.

Does Paige do it when she gets up on a morning or nap time?

Callum has done it for the last week after his nap he has 2hrs he aint having anymore i have to wake him or he will never get up or go to bed at night. Ive always had to so dunno if thats why hes moody but it takes ages sometimes to get him ina good mood x

lilly is just like that but only if she has fallen asleep in the car! xx

Yeah, I think its a phase too.

Aimee sometimes wakes up from her nap (I wonder if its too early sometimes and she is still tired) and she has a complete meltdown. We have screaming, crying, and nothing in the world soothes her.

I actually just ignore it now, as I have tried cuddles, biscuits, drinks and nothing works. She seems to snap out of it sooner if its ignored.

she only does it when she naps, if she wakes up in her push chair she is even worse lol

i just hope she stops soon, today she didnt wake up all grumpy but then as soon as i left her she went off on one. i think ill try the tv idea. but she wont have a tv in her room for a little bit (getting her one when we buy our new one)
