wellllll i haven't technically started my regime yet (haha ahem), but here is what im wondering today. my body still seems to be changing shape - that's fine and i can adjust - but my tummy is well....weird.....

i had a lot of water retention on the bottom of my tummy at the end of my pg, and although i am very aware of the fat bits, there is still a sort of erm...sack...of skin at the bottom of my tummy/abdomen area...

now my tummy isn't anything like firm, but it feels totally empty in comparison to the fat bits - like it is a pouch of just skin - will exercise get rid of this or am i stuck with it??? it feels totally different to any other area and you can easily feel where the actual fat/innards start if you poke it ( Embarassed sorry this is gross!)

is it possible to get rid of this, if it is as i think, just skin? and it's so low down, how can i concentrate on that area??? i have been doing pilates which seems good for feeling the burn around there but any other ideas?

Well, I felt like I had a hot water bottle under my skin for ages, just a weird soft floppy empty type thing - I know exactly what you mean about feeling bits through it, could definitely feel my innards moving and gurgling! No

I now am the proud owner of a very taut tummy, no loose skin, very smooth and firm..

...as I got up the duff again and I'm being stretched to heck by another long legged fatty! Laughing

So as ever I am no use, but will be watching this like a hawk for when I've given birth to this one and need to lose the hot-water-bottle-tummy again!

ahh i have this too No doesnt matter how much weight i lose it wont shif, and like you say its in a funny are to excersize...just wanted to let you know your not alone Laughing x

I think that you can reduce it alot by diet and excercise. I've had 3 sections and I know I'll never have a perfectly flat tummy but if I really focus I can it quite flat ie loads of sit ups and no wine.

Weight loss will only make the pouch seem more prominent (sp) but i know what you mean, I have something similar, altho not quite so bad anymore, The best you can do is exercise and tone, it does reduce!
Crunches helped that area with me. i'm still working on it tho and actually having lost more weight has made it appear a little more but i've not been doing my sit up's and crunches!

I sorted mine out but it did involve a very nice surgeon man and 2 nights in hossie.
