Well i couldnt find one so i decided just not to bother buying anymore. Anyway he has cried a bit more but went to bed without one last night, and has had his nap without one, so i think we may be on our way to being diddy free

We've decided not to buy any more and adopt an "out of sight, out of mind" approach, but sometimes Imogen goes searching and searching so obviously it's not as "out of mind" as we would like!

I'm thinking of trying this with Alfie, he never asks for it if there isn't one around and is fine without one so i know he can do it during the day.

I've noticed someimes that when i go and check on him when he's asleep that his dummy is on the other side of the room so he must have thrown it when before he goes off (he does it when he wakes up, throws everything out of his cot) and then gone to sleep without it anyway x
