Ok - Ellie has started pinching! not everyone, just OH and me.

She pinches us and as she's shouts owch and then roars laughing!

We have tried everything but she wont stop!

Anyone else gone through this and know how we can stop it, I'm covered in little bruises and I'm ashamed to say that I am a battered mummy.

Hmm I'd go for either ignoring her completely (very hard), or getting up and going away from her each time she does it. Failing that a firm no whilst down at her level and then moving away? x

she tends to do it when we're sat down together having a cuddle or a story. I'm pretty sure she does it for a reaction so I will try to ignore her.

Id go with ignoring her. My little one only hits and pushes which is not limited to just us sadly. I think like yours he's interested in seeing what kind of reaction she gets. Not nice though x

I think ignoring too although I know how hard it is. Whatever you do though just be consistent... I ignore Tyler but my OH goes mad shouting no at him and of course Tyler thinks it's hilarious (I find it quite funny too!)

I find ignoring works best, but also saying that im sad/hurt has an effect. Eg walk away with a big exaggerated sad expression saying loudly that Mummy is very sad because Caitlin hurt her. Id then ignore her for a few mins. Caitlin does get annoyed that she has hurt me, sometimes she even starts crying herself.

This method is touch and go but as sometimes she then starts crying so much it starts a tantrum.... hmmm maybe not that great advice lol. At least I know she understands its wrong I suppose!
