Im a firm believer in not rushing things until their ready, so hadnt even started doing anything with potty training at all until she showed me some signs! The only thing we have done is telling her, and showing her what we do in the loo.
Well 3 mornings ago, she walked down the stairs and said 'off a nappy'......so thought maybe she needed changing, but when I went to put another on, she screamed and said 'Me wee wee on potty now'
So I thought, well lets give it a go!! Ive not prompted her really, other than an occasional 'do you need the loo?' Ive put her in a shortish dress and no knickers, and let her get on with it.
End of day three and only 1 accident!!!!!!!
She just buggers off and goes to the loo, and then I hear her pour it down the toilet
I fly in at that point, and do the huge praise thing!!
She poo's and everything
I think the accident only happened because she squatted down to water the plants, and got a bit confuddled
