| Oh im supposed to go to Clarks today to get Caitlin measured but the weather is too depressing to leave the house atm.
Might venture out after lunch. Do you know when sale starts? Im thinking its next week and would be gutted if I bought a pair that were reduced next week.
Those are gorgeous. Caitlin is a G fitting and half the time I have to pick my 2nd or 3rd fave pair as they dont have them in her size. |

Her doodle's arent really up to this weather we having What size is Izzy atm? When Caitlin got her 1st shoes last Aug we were told to come back every 6-8 wks to get her measured. She was a 4 then so has only grown a size and half since. She got shoe's in Aug, Nov, and then March. |

She got shoe's in Aug, Nov, and then March. She was a 5.5 last time which was about March, they are just starting to feel a bit tight to put on now so pretty sure she has gone up to a 6 This is Clarkes sizes though - its hit and miss anywhere else! I went back 3 times to Sainsburys to replace some pumps, 5 looked huge so bought them...miles too big..went back and got 4, too tight! Ended up with some sandals in 5 that are big but actually fit ok as the strap adjusts..... remember to take her to try them next time! I also have a pair of 6 white leather sandals from here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Cheeky-Little-Rascals?_trksid=p4340.l2563 - real leather and at £14 inc postage they are practically the same as Clarkes, really soft..just a shame they are sized quite big! |

| Lisa, I get excited too!!! We took Bethany to get her feet measured yesterday and they had grown!! Yippee!! Bethany has quite diddy feet and only measured 5.5 yesterday, she had been in 4.5 since December. Even better, the shoes we got Bethany were in the sale, should have been £26.00 and reduced to £13.00!! |

| I love new shoe days too!
I need sandles for Ellie for her hols, I have seen quite a few in Next but theyre not perfect. She's only ever had Clarks but so far I haven't seen any nice sandles.
Lisa I love those little shoes but I'm after strappy ones! |

| Lisa that site looks really good! Are they wide fitting but, Caitlin's a G and I worry about shoes nipping her?
Well she measures a 5.5 in one foot and a 6 in the other, so got her new shoes. None in the sale were her size (well none that weren't strappy sandals/beach type shoes) so we ended up getting http://www.clarks.co.uk/find/department-is-girls/fit-is-kidsg/producttype-is-shoes/product-is-20341211
Wouldnt say they my fave but at least they fit her properly and she wont get damp feet like she is in the doodles atm. So now she has her doodles, reebok trainners and the new shoes.
Anyone else hate how Clarks are so PINK for girls. Nearly every pair in size 6 were a shade of pink or purple. Makes it hard for matching clothes.... |

YES!!! I actually hate clarkes shoes full stop - they really are just not to my taste at all - no offence to those who like them. I also think they are waaaaaaaaaaay over priced! Hannah has had one pair of Clarkes because my mum bought her them and they were mingy pink things that didn't match any of her clothes and lasted 5 minutes before they started to fall apart . Since she's been properly on her feet she has had all her shoes from NEXT and as far as I can see they fit her great, are really sturdy and hard wearing, look good and are half the price of clarkes. xx |

| I'm with you Debs, I bought Chloe's first pair of proper shoes from there, now I just get them from Next, I'm not keen on the styles in Clarks, they have quite a limited range and I can get three pairs for the same price as one in Clarks |

| I dont particularly like Clarks shoes either Debs but I get sucked into the whole 'fitting them properly thing', particularly as Caitlin is a wider fit. I also like the way they do half sizes. Though I wonder how necessary a half size is? Especially when they have happily sold me half size's bigger before and also if one foot is measuring half a size smaller anyway, and that doesnt seem a problem |

arrghhh she was measured as a 6F, but they only had from 7 in the store and i couldnt be bothered waiting as she needs new ones now Got some purple ones that aren't even online! Oh and yeh on the pink!! drives me mad as she wears lots of red! So I got purple! Although they did have a very nice pair of plain red shoes too which I was tempted by, which werent on sale online but were only £16 in the shop http://www.clarks.co.uk/find/department-is-kids/size-is-_6infant/gender-is-girls/product-is-20343395 |

| snoops Ava still has really small fat feet 3.5H I really don't like clarks but think I buy them because my mum drummed in to me you have to have good fitting shoes, I must admit I tried some from Next and she didn't walk as well in them, maybe when she's more steady on her feet I'll try again. |

| Jo it's prob because she has wider feet that others dont seem to fit aswell. I wish Caitlin was an F as then I prob would buy her out of next. Iv no problems with her wearing Reebok trainners etc but for most of the time I like her in the wider Clarks fit.
H must be so hard to get. My Clarks always has bugger all in the G, never mind H. |

| they are really hard to get snoops, usually I only have one choice of style, the saleswoman said this time that I could go up half a size and then get a G fit but when she tried them on they were far too big. |
