| Do you remember what you were doing when the twin towers tradgey happened? Even now when i watch the programmes i can't actually believe anything like that could actually happen and i cry my eyes out. I was on my way home from school when the Planes hit the two towers, i remember actually watching them fall on the news and was just shocked (actually shocked doesnt even cover it), while i'm writing this i have goose pimples and the whole thing is sending shivers down my spine. RIP to all the people who died on this awful day |

| I was off work ill that day and I was laying in bed and put the BBC on to watch lunchtime neighbours and I remember being really annoyed that it had been taken off for the news. Then i started watching and at first it seemed like a horrible accident and that was bad enough, then the sheer horror as the second plane hit right before my eyes. I don't think I moved from that telly all day and I'll never forget those poor people hanging out of the building making the choice to jump to their death. RIP and my thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends who lost someone x |

| I was in the 6th form, and had a free period was sitting in common room when the head came in and said I think you need to see this. watched some of it. when I got home put the telly on and watched it live when the 2nd plane hit. awful cant start to think. RIP I know a couple who were on their honeymoon and flying to newyork and were in the air at the time, and were just comming into newyork when it all happening when they were told they were being diverted and to shut the window blinds! and not open. wernt told why or what, but she said she did just see black smoke and people were starting to panic what was going on. wasnt till they landed and everyone off plane they were told. how scary! x |

| I was pregnant with Madisyn..and that morning I got up early as she was kicking me so hard. I wandered upstairs to the family room and put on the TV..every channel was over-run with images of a plane crashing into the World Trade Center...it took me a few minutes to realize what happened. Then news came in about other planes crashing..I was sickened..horrified...scared...and extremely sad. I remember every airport was on lockdown...as several building in Vancouver were on high alert. Even Whitehorse Yukon were taking flights that were suppose to be landing in Vancouver when all this happened. I will never forget the tragedy as long as I live. We are never going to be the same again. Not only did they take innocent lives..they took our innocence. xxx |

| I don't remember where I was when it happened, bizarre that as I remember exactly where I was when Diana died.
I know that at the time, my ex's mum and dad where in the US, and had a right problem with flights etc to get home |

| I was at work, customers started to come in and tell us. I left soon after and went home, but when I got home my mum told me my nan had died earlier that day (she was ill and it was expected), so the twin towers didn't really sink in for a while.
I see footage and programs on the tv now and can't imagine what was going through the minds of the people who were involved. RIP to the innocent ones who didn't survive. x |

| It was my day off work and my Dad had just been helped through the door by one of his work colleges. He'd put his back out lifting a computer into a car at work (he had previous surgery on his back) So we were sat in the livingroom and my mum was upstairs working in the office. Dad and I we "arguing" as I wanted to watch Neighbours and he hated it but conceeded. Then it broke for the news. We were gobsmacked and horrified. My Dad had been stood at the top of the world trade centre and had a picture taken a few years before, so it was all too real for him. We just looked at each other and said "it's got to come down, they need to run" And then the 2nd plane hit. I text all my friends telling them to get to a TV. |
