Hi ladies, hope you are all well!

I am feeling very guilty tonight, as I have just realised that all I have eaten today is:-

A slice of wholemeal toast with butter on
Half a bag of Pear Drops
2 bags of Wotsits and
Some Fizzy Blue Bottles

Now I know this isn't the best diet for a pregnant woman, but im feeling really guilty that I haven't eaten enough today and im worried I haven't eaten enough for my baby. xx

i ate shite nearly my whole pregnancy, i made myself feel better by taking pregnacare vitamins. i wouldn't advise that diet everyday but don't worry too much

Honestly dont worry. Everybody has rubbish days. Some women manage to eat bugger all the first few weeks due to sickness and theyre fine. Do take vitamins though and keep yourself hydrated. Your body will have enough stores to feed your baby! xxx

I have had plenty of water and orange juice today and im taking the Sanatogen Pregnancy Vitamins, I just felt so bad when I realised how little I had eaten. xx

Ahh hun try not to worry some mornings I was glad to keep toast down and didnt dare eat again till after work after feeling/being so sick for most of day. Also ive found this time round I dont have the 'time' to eat so have grabbed whatever crap I can along the way x

Don't feel bad for the baby - they take what they need from you - so if you have a poopy diet it will be you that suffers not the baby - they are greedy selfish little sods

I honestly wouldnt worry. Im sure that most people have had a bad day or two with food in their pregnancies.

Like Lisa says, the baby will get all of its food from your resources so will be totally fine xx

Thanks ladies, you know what it's like first pregnancy and all that, I just want to do everything properly. It was only when my dad said you need to eat I felt guilty and realised how little I had eaten XX

Im eating hardly anything cos of nausea and my mw said baby will feed off my reserves so if i dont eat the only one to feel shite is me (and hey, I do!). So i wudnt worry hon, it will be fine

hun try not to worry. I had food poisning at 26 weeks and didnt eat for 4 days. I tried as i was worried but i kept being sick. So i helled out then tried again and i could eat.

haha I ate total crap too and did the pregnacare diet I spent 14 weeks on the verge of throwing up and/or throwing up so don't worry, like everyone said just make sure you are drinking loads and getting nutrition

when my morning sickness was at its worst all i could manage was 2 slices of toast the midwife said this was fine as baby would take from my reserves x

Thankyou so much for all your replies ladies, so far today I have managed to eat 3/4 of a tin of peach slices and im currently eating a slice of toast. xx

Well I managed to eat:-

Some Peaches
A slice of toast
A packet of crisps
An Apple

And im currently debating what to have for tea xx

Welllll I have had some ham and a bacon roll and I'm going to have chilli for tea - so not healthy at all AND I don't have the excuse of being pregnant Can I blame breastfeeding???

dont worry, throughout all my 3 pregnancies thats all i ate, all day everyday! x

Don't worry I was sick literallyfrom the moment I found out to when I delivered Ollie, I was on drips and everything but he took all he needed from me, so while I felt like shit he was growing nicely x
