So im going back to slimming world tonight. I was gonna do WW but got no one to go with me and im too wimpy to go on my own. I gotta do something though as my weight is not helping how down ive been this last month or so, i doubt losing weight will totaqlly solve it but might help stop me feleing so crap about myself. But im so anxious about going back, i went there before and lost the weight and now im going back heavier than i even was the first time i joined and im really ashamed

I dunno what the point to this post is really just somewhere to express how nervous i am

DOn't be ashamed..you have had a baby for goodness sake, lots of women don't even bother to shift the weight afterwards, so why should you feel embarrassed about doing something good?!

Hold on a minute missus, you havent just piled the weight back on because you stuffed your face with doughnuts. You have had a baby and unfortunately for most of us, the joys of motherhood has a shocking effect on our bodies and it takes a little bit of work to get them off.

Everybody else who is going tonight is there for the same reason as you hun, because they want to get rid of excess weight that they have gained, for whatever reason. All of them will be feeling down about their bodies, that is why they are there.

You know you can lose it too, so get stuck in and look forward to your weekly weigh ins and watch the weight drop off.

Well it was both awful and great. The consultant knows me well as i went the first time after Neil and i got engaged then again after C was born so she was very welcoming.
She didnt make me chat during the class as she knew i was anxious and sat and talked to me after about how the weight had gone on-pregnancy not so much being my main problem as the PND after C meaning i comfort ate a lot then got preg again without losing it and now its creeping up again cos of feeling low and eating too much again. She said she knew it had taken a lot to walk back in but now i had she was there to help and she hoped id stick with it. I didnt end up sitting with the new ones to have the talk as she knows i know the plan so ended up running the tuck' shop selling books and HiFi bars as they were short of helpers lol!!!
So ive had some choc and a can of coke and am actually looking forward to getting started Ive gotta just check how bfing affects my healthy extras as im a little vague on that but i think its a couple extra healthy As.

But mostly as stupid as this sounds i feel a little proud ive made that first effort and hoping i can get there now. Shes set me an interim target of 2 stone but its awens chistening on 4th sept and im aiming for a stone by then

Well done for going. It is tough to walk in a get weighed and face it all. I'm dreading going back to WW (or I might do SW) after baby boy is born.
