At the beginning of march I decided to start running, initially it was to run race for life this year however I've left it too late with sponsors etc now so I'm looking at other races. Anyway yesterday I ran 10k for the first time! I was so worried I wouldn't be able to do it but I actually ran the whole time I did it in 68 mins! Never really been much of an exercise person really until this year and I'm loving it! Think I'm going to make 10k a weekly think along with the gym 4 time a week!

Bit pointless really but I'm so chuffed with myself for sticking with it and actually enjoying it!

10 k ,, how many miles is that ? ,,, there quite simply is not a good enough fitting bra for me to go running without resulting in 2 black eyes ,, thats my excuse and im sticking to it

Lol I use to have the bra problem! Then I breast fed two children and now I have no problem!!

10k is around 6.5 miles, and surprisingly I wasn't as knackered as I thought I would be, I kept my pace and heart rate pretty steady don't get me wrong I wasn't running super fast it was more of a jog!

Lisa I was just like you hated running! But now I want to do more it's incredible! I struggled running 1 min then walking 1 min for a total of 20 mins in the beginning and now I've managed this! I feel like it's quite an achievement for me!
Lol I wish there was less of me! I work my ass off at the gym etc but not getting as good a result as I would like! Ho hum I'll get there!!
