I have an awful pain in my hips/pelvis. Hurts most on the right side but whole area is painful. Standing up, walking, moving over in bed, anything really is very painful, to the point it makes me cry. Is this SPD? What can I do to help? I'm seeing MW on wednesday, but is there anything I can do to help the pain in the mean time?

Sounds like it. That's whatI had (and ended up being signed off and then starting my maternity leave early). I got referred to the physio but never got an appointment before I gave birth. I found a support pillow in bed helped and remembering to keep my legs together when I turned over. Other than thatI didn't find much helped. A bump band may help a bit by taking some of the weight away

Keep your legs together as much as possible. I had awful difficulty putting my knickers and trousers on in the mornings because I couldn't stand on one leg lol

oo it could be. i have this, im on crutches atmo. as kell said keep ur legs together as much as you can, even when in bed and rolling over. does ur hips n legs click alot? thats another sign of it.

try n do things slowly too n do the whole pillow thing inbetween your knees to ankles in bed that helps x

Becci my hips/legs click a lot but they've always done that.
