| I just feel like i'm waiting for the worst to happen Its like i'm trying not to get my hopes up about this pregnancy cos I just feel something is going to happen. I don't know why!!..the other day I started getting nauseous and the boobs were still super tender, tiredness etc..but past few days - nothing! I know i'm still in the very early stages yet, but other than peeing for England I have no other symptoms now and I keep convincing myself i'm having some sort of phantom pregnancy lol. Don't get me wrong, I had my worries when pg with Oliver..but I was very nieve then in comparison to the knowledge I have now..coming on baby forums and having very close mummy friends (one had an ectopic and the other just recently had a m/c at 10wks ) I just feel somethings going to happen...I hate feeling this way too and i'm getting really mad with myself. OH is being a true gent and really looking after me..and i've just told my mum tonight and she's over the moon for us. But there is just something niggling at the back of my mind I need a slap round the face |

| Well I'm not one for slapping pg ladies Zee hun but yep totally normal! chill! (easier said than done ) I think it must be a 2nd (and subsequent) pg thing tbh. Like you say you have more experience and knowledge about the whole process now so you do worry much much more than first time around. I wish I could say it will go away but in my exerience it doesn't :/ as soon as you get past that 12 week dodgy bit and see your LO kicking away on the screen you will be reasured but then start worrying about babies health and if they are kicking enough and if you're eating and drinking enough/the right stuff? Then cue the worrying about whether you're giving your toddler enough time and attention and if they are missing out because mummy is getting too fat to throw them around and run after them, and so on and so forth probably for then next.....rest of our lives I'm not saying all this to panic you more hun just to reasure you that its all perfectly normal mummy stuff and would we have it any other way? really? I suspect not! I'm sure all will be fine, try to relax and enjoy it but I know what you're going through and if it's any consolation I had very very few symptoms at all with Hannah and she is one healthy, happy, and bossy little madam now xx |

| argh just wrote a reply and didn't work.
I think it's normal to feel this way hun. I was like it when I got pregnant again, analysing every little thing and convincing myself something was wrong. Sadly I did have a m/c which made me even more paranoid this time and I spent the first 12wks convinced I'd get to the scan and there wouldnt be a baby. I think you just need to stay as positive as you can and try not to analyse everything. I had barely any symptoms with this pregnancy, whereas I had a few with pregnancy that ended in m/c and it drove me crazy.
Good luck with the pregnancy hun, i'm sure everything will be fine, just try and relax and enjoy it as much as you can x |

| I was paranoid for the first 13 weeks despite feeling awful and having 3 scans in that time. I then got paranoid again towards the end so I think its just normal |

| yeah I think me and snoopy can vouch for it being normal.
it's like the mroe you know the more there is to worry about. Especialyl as every pregnancy is different, I still get weird shooting pains if I stand up too quick which I don't remember with Tyler but I think well when I was pg with Tyler I didn't have to get up quick to run after a toddler so...
and it doesn't stop either btw sorry lol x |

| I was exactly the same throughout my whole pregnancy with Ellie as like some of the others I'd also had a mc in the past. I did worry throughout the whole pregnancy and didnt even start to buy things until I was past 26 weeks! Looking back now, I wish I had relaxed more and enjoyed the pregnancy as it was fantastic pregnancy with no problems what so ever!
I hope that you can stop worrying and start to enjoy it xxx |

| I wont believe fully that i have a baby in there until my scan as well. Its tough but natural to feel this way, you know the signs of mc so as long as you dont have any your fine. Hope the next 2 months fly for you. xx |

| Thanks for all you support ladies - you are all gems I do feel a bit better about it and just taking each day at a time rather than looking at the 'what ifs' in the future. xx |

| As the others said hun, its totally normal to feel like this.
I did. To the point where I had to try to shut it out of my mind for fear of going insane.
Everything will be just fine xx |
