Funny question since A is my second and I should know this but do i need to change hr milk at 6 months?

Though C was formula fed she was on prescrition formula til she was a year then cows milk so never had to think of this.

and obv awens been bf til now but shes now on about 3-4 bfs and 2 bottles a day with the aim to go to 3-3 in a fortnight etc - though im planning on keeping her on 1 feed a day for a while yet as can still do a morning or bedtime feed even while working plus im not sure im ready to cut it out just yet, im dreading going down to 3-3 tbh. so her 1-2 bottles have ben cow and gate 1st but i dunno if its neccesary to switch to the 6 month plus stuff or what? esp in light of planning on doing the mixed weaning i posted about before

you would think id be better at this with my second lol

Dont quote me as Caitlin was also on prescription milk, but yup I think you change to follow on milk at 6 months as it has more Iron?

Even on prescription milk I had to switch Caitlin to the stage 2 Nutramigin at 7months. Im not sure but whether at 6 months its stage 2 or 3 in ordinary baby milk but it should say on the tin x

umm your 3rd paragraph was too much like algebra so i have skipped reading it Laughing hope it wasn't important...to answer the question at the top of the post, as i believe it no you don't need to change milk (according to my only good hv follow milk etc is a money making waste of time). you can keep her on that milk til she is closer to 12 months then go straight to cows milk and she wont be missing out on anything.

hope that answered your question and wasn't too ignorant of the middle bit of your post Laughing

Seems it not neccesary then. Though someone does make a good point you get more money off offers on the 6month plus so if i did switch to save some money it wouldnt cause any harm would it? Im having to consider the pennies atm and even 8 pound a week is noticeable atm

With the first stage milk they arent allowed to advertise it or have any offers on it because of the breastfeeding to 6 months thing. I dont think theres any actual need to change it but if you want to then theres no harm in it plus theres more iron and vits in it so it probably is beneficial. x
