is anyone using this on FB, managed to offload some stuff over the last few days, sold 2 dresses to one woman for £4 each posted, now she's listing them again for £5 each, would you go to so much effort to make a quid?

I've heard of alot of people doing this on the fb swap and sell shops. It could happen anywhere i.e ebay so I think it's up to you if you want to take the risk xx

I'm not bothered I was quite happy to get rid, I just don't think I would go to that much effort for a couple of quid.

No way not for a quid! Fair enough if you got hold of a bundle that worked out at a quid an item and then sold each for a fiver would be worth it!

that's like the car boot sales!
I went to one and they barely let you get the stuff out the car before they're rummaging through it. then they buy the best stuff and sell it at their tables!!! Laughing

I supose if she did that with loads of stuff she could make herself a fair bit of money - for what - going to the post office... but still seems a bit of a waste of time to me.

I've seen people do that on netmums, except they relist at 3x the original price! You can't see if something has actually sold though. I can understand reselling but you think they'd relist somewhere else e.g. ebay where you are unlikely to notice or to be sure it is what you sold them anyway.

It does seem like a lot of effort but then I'm surprised how much effort people go to to sell stuff cheaply in the first place e.g. babygrows for 50p, especially online where there is the hassle of photographing and listing, I can see it is easier at carboot sales.
