i mean things like kurby, british bulldog, the red letter,london that kind of thing just all i ever seem to see kids doing latley is acting clever running infront of cars x

my stepson and nephew still play 40 40 in but only when we go play with them so we have to make sure its dark - we live on a dead end road with 12 houses down each side.

apart from that they are out on their bikes or playing blooming computer games

Health and safety would have field day!!! LOL

i used to love kurby...not seen a kid playing it in years!

40 40 in - its where you have someone counting to 40 and the others go hide the one counting has to find the others before they make it back to the post first one to be caught out has to count

(also when you run to the post you have to shout 40 40 in suzi or if you get someone out you have to run and shout 40 40 out i see suzi)

i think 40 40 is the same as 50 50, its hide and seek but you have to try and get back to the 'base' area undetected! i use to love it!

Tommy loves kirbies but i dont have kurbs here so he only gets to play it when at my dads!

i use to spend my whole childhood outside! during the holidays i'd be given a key and 50p in the morning and didn't return till it was tea time, no mobiles no contact unless we were hungry and that was just the norm!
i kinda wish things were the same now, it was a much simpler time!

we call 40/40 pom pom we even use to play drunken pom pom when we was like 18

my daughter plays kirby..and the whole school plays british ball dog vent he head teacher used to play it.. well when she was in middle school.!! we used to play cops and robbers and. nine nine in.. same a 40 40 or 50 50 lol.. i loved playin stuck in the mud and bundles lol

I lived outside as a kid..we never had cable tv..or vid games til I was in my early teens..we played every game imaginable..one of my all time fav's was capturing the flag! Also would have snow fort building competitions...sigh..brings back memories of simpler days... xxx
