| Chloe has been dry for a while now during the day and very very rarely has accidents, but she will not poo on the potty or toilet, she'll go off on her own and do it in her knickers. Every time she does it, i say next time on the potty or toilet, and she says yes potty next time, but then does the same thing. We've tried reward, bribery, encouragement, putting her on when we think she's going to do it, even telling her of she wants to poo in private as she always goes off somewhere to do it, to take her potty with her Any ideas of what I can do? It's really rather unpleasant cleaning it out of her knickers |

| Not sure what to suggest as Izzy thinks doing poos on the potty is great!
What about a potty book while she is sat on there and just talk about poos loads, or sing a poo song lol (Yes I did this..it went something like poo poo potty poo, woohoo...hmmmmmm lol!)
ummmmmmm gross but what about leaving her a while with it stuck on her butt??! Maybe she will realise its not nice?
Does she do poos at the same time each day? izzy often does them before her nap, but this week its been before bed..so if you can figure out when she is doing them and then really just really focus on it?? |

| Snap Mandy! We have exactly the same, wees are fine, no probs at all but poos are sneaked out when she is playing outside, in bed of a night with a pull up on etc. If you find a breakthrough then let me know as at the moment i am just doing the same as you with no effect! |

| Amelia went through a little phase of not wanting to poo in the potty. She got quite upset and asked for a pull up. I decided I'd rather let her wear a pull up and not get upset and work on it from there. She was only doing them when she went for a nap or to bed so I just kept asking her to try to do a poop and said that mummy would hold her hand if she was scared. That was all it took. I held her hand, she pooped, we did lots of crazy celebration and now Amelia proudly tells anyone who will listen that she "loves big poops on the potty" cringe! |

| Sorry Mandy, I haven't got any tips as "touch wood" Bethany has been fine pooing on the potty and now the toilet. But I hope you get it sorted soon xx |

| Andrew has been dry for absolutely ages and has only just started doing poos on the potty, he is still in nappies at night and would wait until he had it on before going. I just kept reminding him that we poo on the potty. I think the biggest thing for Andrew was the first time he did it out of the nappy it kind of got him over the fear, as it happened it was on the bathroom floor rather than in the toilet but it was still a big stepping stone! He still won't poo on the toilet he will only do it in his white potty but I just think they will do it when they are ready |

hahaha I had my parents round tonight for tea, my dads birthday...right after tea Izzy asked to get down and off she went, I thought to play...next thing she comes hobbling in tights round her knees cos she cant get them back up...tells me she has done BIG poo! OMG It was huge, I had never seen one that big - so I went back in the kitchen laughing about it...next minute she has brought the potty in to show Granny & Tiad! |

| Well we had progress today, she did a poo on the potty! It seems that posting on here did the trick I don't know if it was because both me and Matt were busy in other rooms, so she got to do it in privacy but we made a massive fuss over her for it so hopefully we will get a repeat performance next time |
