| We're thinking about buying a portable dvd player for Imogen as we travel loads (back down to Sussex or visiting family in Essex both 2hr trips) and she's starting to get bored in the car. I've seen this: http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Technology-and-Gadgets/Vision/Portable-DVD-Players/Curtis-7-Twin-Screen-Portable-DVD-Player%280087775%29
It looks like a pretty good deal I just don't know whether to go for it. Pro is there are two screens so i can watch one in the front as well as Immi and then when Josh is older he can watch that one. Con is they'd have to watch the same film. I guess Josh being younger he'd prob be happy to watch Immi's film for a couple of years and then we could always get them seperate ones then. Hmm it's a lot of money but guess it would be worth it. |

| cause she throws the book (or any toy) on the floor then moans till i climb over the seat pick it up give it to her only for her to throw it again.
they both come with headphones so not like i'd have to listen to two films |

| My SIL has one for the boys and its a life saver for her, i would diffo get one when noahs older. Toys and books last 1minute and he gets bored. At the mo tho if we know we are going on a long journey i normally go when its noahs nap time. So he sleeps most of it.

| It looks like an ok deal but you can defo get them for the same price where you watch diff films on them as well as together.
We got Aimee/Lily a twin set (Bush) from the Argos clearance place in Corby and we paid £64.99 and you can watch both the same film on them or separate films. They are always one ebay too so its worth looking on there x |

| We looked recently in Halfords and the cheapest we saw in there was £129 for twin ones so that looks reasonable, but in saying that what Laura said about the ones in the clearance shop sound REALLY cheap! (thanks Laura, we were going to go there soon - so definately will now ) We do have a single one already for Libby and we would be completely lost without it, like you say before she was always throwing things on the floor and one of us would have to stretch over to get it etc. |

| Definitely a life saver for us too! Highly recommended as we do a lot of long miles with the kids and the number of times we've been driving up the M6 with me wedged between the seats, arse in the air, trying to retrieve some random toy or book from the back foot well isn't funny and is highly dangerous . Ours only plays one dvd on both screens and was much more than that so looks a good deal to me. Tbh they both only watch the one tv at home so I don't really see the massive need for separate players, they will have to learn to compromise at some point and watch things they both like. xx |

| Im kind of with the majority on the books are a pain in the arse thing. For long journeys C is not quite of the age to be able to play car games and doesnt really sleep anymore so shes a bit of a pain. That said going to and from devon we just loaded the car up with toys and spent a lot of time chatting and singing and it was manageable. I think 4 hours or less I wouldnt bother but for over 4 hours we borrowed my mums and it was a lifesaver. I doubt id buy a twin one though just tell em they can share and tough. |

| Well we bought them. Matt fell in love and we had a bit of extra money so went for it. I looked around and did find some £10 cheaper on eBay but decided we'd rather have the option of taking it back if there's a problem so just paid extra. |
