| Hmm, its a difficult one hun because there is no gaurentee you'll fall as quickly as you have before.
When i was trying with Charlie i was sure i'd fall quickly, It actually took about 8 months of trying and i got pretty obsessed symptom spotting whether that be symptoms of ovulation or after ovulation when in the dreaded 2 week wait.
Although we try our hardest to concieve there really isn't much you can do that will gaurentee you will concieve. The best thing to do is bd (baby dance/ have sex lol) every 2-3 days after you have your period. there are things you can look for so you know when your most fertile but even knowing all that the odds don't really change.
Sometimes i really thing being dissapointed is part of trying for a baby, Theres not many of us here that actually fell pregnant straight away, and theres a few that went through years of dissapointment before getting their bfp's (big fat positive) The thing that got most of us through is knowing that we had somewhere to come and chat, and they would know how you feel!
Fingerts crossed for you hun! Lets hope you don't have to worry at all! xx |

| It took me a long time with Tyler - I thought it would be easy as you hear of so many unwanted pregnancies I figured I'd get pg straight away but it took 7/8 months and I was starting to worry I couldn't have kids.
Then when we decided to TTC for baby no. 2 I stopped taking the pill on 1st Jan expecting it to take around 6 months again and I got my BFP in March!
I believe things will happen when they are meant to happen and I'm sure most of the ladies will agree that you will fall pregnant the month you aren't thinking about it lol. |

| My biggest piece of advice is not to let yourself get bogged down by it all, it's amazing how quickly it takes over your every thought when your ttc. When I got pg with my son I came off the pill in feb, no AF (period), and got bfp (big fat positive ) in April. It happened so quick and the pregnancy and labour was totally text book. Couldn't have been any luckier. Ttc number two, we started Xmas '10. Well it didn't happen straight away and as the months went by it got harder and harder to deal with when AF came We just thought feck it, it'll happen when it happens. And that very next month it did, I got my bfp in July. So 7mths of trying. and we literally only had sex once that month Sadly as you can probably see that little squishy wasn't ment to be. I suffered and ectopic pregnancy and had to have my tube removed OH wants to start trying again 'properly' but I can't let myself get like that again and the chances have been reduced for me now so will probably take even longer Anyway, sorry for the total ramble lol but just take it as it comes. I really hope it happens quick for you, but just ty to be uber relaxed about it all it'll happen when it happens Good luck. X |

| I have the same worries. We're not planning on trying for a second yet but I got pregnant first attempt with Jamie. I keep telling myself it will take longer next time but I know there's a part of me that's expecting it to happen straight away. I have no advice for you but just wanted to let you know that I know totally where you're coming from |

| I agree with the others, try not to obsess because it does get you down. I've been trying for number two for about 15 months now roughly, and now I've stopped thinking about it as much as it was really getting to me. I come on here most days but don't really post in the conceiving section that much now.
Just remember that there's lots of us here who know how you feel so we're here if you need to chat xx |

| With my first child, Libby, it took a very long 2 years of trying - in the end we'd given up hope completely and then it happened (obviously ). The second time, we weren't actually trying and actually hubby (I desparately did though) didnt want anymore but it only took the once of not being careful and there was Dexter Like Zee says it is so easy to get bogged down with it all, to let it take over your life but I truely think it only happens well you're relaxed about it xx |

| No idea when we're going to start trying. We've decided we want another but thats it. We could really do with selling our flat first altough we're going to have to turn it into a two bed soon anyway. I suspect not until next year at the very earliest
Good luck. Hope it happens quickly again for you |

| Good luck with trying hun,
I fell pregnant quite quickly and i was on the pill for 7 years. I didnt worry to much i just did it when my ovulation calender told me to (as in most fertile days).
When i try next i will just go with the flow

| i feel the same, it only took a couple of weeks of not using contraception with elijah that i worry that a) i might get really disappointed if it doesn't happen so quickly again and b) surely i can't be so lucky twice!!! we aren't trying until next year either though so i will have to wait and see (boo!) |
