Well it wasn't good! Well it was in the sense that baby is very healthy and cute and has lots of hair
Apart from that he is currently over 7 pounds at least with a month to go and above average size everywhere
But he is also now lying transverse! I was so shocked because he has been head down for weeks now and was on Monday when I saw the community mw, he has just decided to turn round now to be awkward!
So I have no idea what is going to happen now, I've got to go back in a week to check his position and if he is still transverse then they will admit me until I have him
because it's dangerous for me if I went into labour with him like that as the cord could prolapse
I burst out crying on the poor consultant but she was lovely, I just really don't want a c section after what happened last time and feel like that's where I'm headed. She did say that there is plenty of time for him to turn but then he's big anyway so I don't know what is going to happen now. Oh well I suppose the main thing is that he's doing well, just feel a bit down now xxx
aw it's such a shame that it does sound like you are heading towards a section, but at least this one will be planned and you will know what kind of help you will need afterwards. Plus! you have another healthy baby boy so it isn't that awful (does that sound patronising? i hope not). He could definitely still move back to head down and they might induce you at 37 or 38 weeks if they think he is growing quickly - that's ideal really as no waiting around for labour to start, and a chance at natural labour
