| Just trying to find out whats normal. I cant really judge by Caelyn as she started dada mama etc at just about 6 months and said her first real word cat at 8 months and pretty much hasnt shut up since.
Awens coming up to 8m next week and we have had a few dadads, mamams and babas but nothing really consistent yet. Im not really worried as a)shes doing it even if not regularly so shes obviously able and b) she expends a LOT of energy learning to get mobile, shes mastered crawling and is now trying to stand and cruise and im a big believer they concentrate on certain things as C didnt walk til 18m.
Just wondering what kind of thing she might start doing in the next couple months etc so i know what to look forward to |

| i think awen sounds more like elijah - he was so busy crawling/pulling up then walking at 10 months that it was closer to his first birthday that we got much that was consistently recognisable (even then it was cat, mama and that was all) its only in the past month or two that he has learned quite a few words - although only me and mr.mari can understand most of them, but he is picking them up quickly now. |

| We've just been discussing how alike Libby and Awen are physically but its similar with talking, Libby didnt really say much more than Mumma, Dadda, Oo oo (when we had the dog, Lulu) before her 1st birthday.
I remember though she was only about 15 months old and we were in the back garden, we were looking for the cat and he suddenly appeared - Simon said 'here he is' and she copied, from then on she talked and talked and.. talked - and literally hasnt stopped. |

| Jamie can say mum for me. He says da-da for Adam but also says it lots of other times as well. In the last two weeks his starting to copy what we say and starting to apply the noises even when we don't say them (such as saying brum with his cars) but that's about all. That's only been in the last couple of weeks as well so older than Awen is now. His always chatted loads but noises not recognisable words. However, like Awen Jamie has been concentrating on moving. He started crawling at 4 months and could pull himself up and cruise by 7. I guess its true that they can only concentrate on one or another |

| Rowan focushed on mobility first, sitting, crawling, standing, cruising, climbing, walking.
Rowan said mama, dada, ta and that's it until Feb of this year, 2 months after his 2nd birthday and he suddenly started speaking. He can now repeat any words he pronunciation is superb and his understanding of words is brilliant.
His coordination is brilliant and picks up sport easily. I'm not sure if being mobile sooner is why.
I can trust to let him go play on anything as I know he won't fall or trip.
It's nothing to worry about but you might find her a right climber and when she does walk will want to walk all the time (Rowan has been out of his buggy since he was 20 months) |

| Um only in the last 3 months Noah has started to say words people can understand he can say about 12 now clearly his first was e r lol . He can string 2, 3 worded sentences now. His understanding amazes me more than anything. He now babbles on and on now, sometimes he will sit there and talk to himself especially when his being daring lol.
Noah took his first steps at 10 months, 1 week can remember coz videoed it lol and by 11 months was walking quite steady. He was able to kick a ball and throw a ball over head from about one. So from about 1 his been catching up on his speaking.
His just started to drink from a proper cup a week ago as well now.
My nxt well prob be the opposite lol.
