dinner for the poshies

just me and elijah tonight so need to make something pretty quickly as he won't wait around any ideas?

we're having mcdonalds as it's our monthly food shop day so we have a take away after (our sad little routine)

If i want to do something quick for Imogen i do pasta with sausages and chopped tomatoes, or tuna pasta, or sauages and mash.

hmm might stick some pasta on, i think we have some eggs so maybe omelette...(i just learned that if you put two ms in omelette, spellcheck thinks it says letterbomb!!)

KFC for us havent had a KFC since i was about 25 weeks pregnant. So going to treat myself lol

We are having roast turkey, parsnips, cabbage and spuds, then fruit strudel and cream after (or maybe custard if I convince Dan to make it!)

well i took the laziest possible option elijah is having a 'little dish' out of the freezer and im having super noodles with peppered salami cut up in it hahahaha i feel like a student

we are having kfc too because we both literally just got in from work and the kids are so mardy and tired its unreal, so kfc then they can go to bed in an hour!

we havent got anything in the fridge that doesnt take an hour to cook! but im gna prep potatoes n veg later for tomoro when we get in so we are not in same position, did all my ironing yest evening so completely forgot about tea!

god niccsy you're more dedicated than me, we have an extensive collection of frozen veg which takes no time to cook on the hob, how come i really have sod all to do yet don't have any time??? (hmmm the clue might be a word beginning with b and ending in anda )

i made a pot of soup earlier ,, just blitzd it and whilst at the shop seen some nommy looking sandwiches reduced , so being proper lazy and gonna have a wee boul of soup and a sandwich

eeghhhhh I HATE frozen veg, the only thing I will eat if desperate is frozen roast potatoes if I want them without doing a full roast

really? i can't really tell the difference when it comes to peas and brocolli, carrots are different for sure and peppers aren't the same (wouldn't even bother with mushrooms ) i find i end up going shopping every couple of days if i always buy fresh, either that or end up with mulch in the bottom of the cupboard/fridge

Really?! I only do shopping once a week and veg lasts all week , tbh today I went to put the brocolli in the fridge, realised hadn't eaten last weeks, and its still perfectly crisp and fresh

There is summert wrong if your veg doesn't last a week in the fridge!

i hate frozen veg, mine lasts a week too

not long in from work but mr pinkys made chicken arabiatta pasta

haha yeah i buy it from tesco so its already been halfway around the word, kicked around a warehouse for a week then squished by a hundred filthy hands in the aisle before i even get to it!

Im afraid im a frozen veg person too lol!!

We had pie, chips, sweetcorn (frozen) and gravy.

I only have sweetcorn and peas in the feezer, dont like anything else frozen so usually buy fresh.

didnt bother with soup , will have it tomorrow as we all know it tastes so much better on day 2
so stuffed my face with a sandwich and a huge slice of bakewell tart

I feel so tired tonight, so we are having grilled chicken kebabs (not the greasy ones) and chips delivered... cant wait! x

fresh for us, only thing i buy frozen is garden peas, we buy carrots, broccoli, cabbage, parsnips and green beans every week no fail, and they all last a week, if not a bit longer lol!

Infact the last 3 weeks have had not a single item frozen on my shopping list at all. Our freezer is just full of meat from the butchers that we havent used in time lol, and we have started our christmas meat collection =op We do have one bag of smileys and a tub of ice cream in there but thats been there the last 6 months lol

we have all sorts of nonsense in our freezer, mainly veggie sausages and burgers and stuff and veg, a few mini milks that we won't give elijah because they appear to send him mental but we don't want to eat haha

you eat a whole cabbage a week? wtf do you do with it???????? nom nom cabbage soup no ta!

and judging by mr.mari's recent behaviour theres only me and elijah to eat the veg...although i suppose a single carrot and a sprig of brocolli isnt going to cost me much

we had steak, egg fried rice and parsnip chips last night. ive just had butternut squash and red pepper soup for dinner and were having lamb kebab for tea. We dont eat till 8 tho so ill prob knockl alfie us a sausage casserole and sausages are his fave ever!! x
