I'm still trying to decide on my birthday pressie from hubby my birthday was end of July lol. Hubby has bought my a gorgeous Sony vaio laptop as my joint Christmas/birthday pressie but I'm not sure if I'd prefer an iPad.

What would you choose and why?

I love my iPad for general stuff but sometimes apple doesn't let you download some things that you need to view certain websites. This hardly ever happens though and there maybe a way around it. I always pick up the iPad before I'd be arsed switching on laptop. Love iPad xx

Ipad. really. don't waste money on the 3g one though - you can use your phone as a modem (apple or android) and use all the same features for £100 less.

i like them both but i dont like FB chat on the ipad and spend alot of time chatting to rot


so to sum it up.... i am no use at all!

it depends what you want to use it for. I use the ipad for all my browsing/apps/games/email etc but I still use my laptop for using word/excel etc. If you just want something for mainly internet then go for the ipad x

Jo have you actually downloaded the chat app for Facebook? I find that is so much better x
