As some of you know i LOVE my Fray Bentos pies but have a nervous breakdown when trying to open the tin I emailed the company and told them I had gone through 3 tin openers and it was a nightmare !!

Anyway....... got a letter from them this morning.....

"Dear Miss Jenkins,
Thankyou for your recent feedback concerning our range of Fray Bentos products. We are sorry to learn that you experienced difficulty opening your pie. Blah Blah Blah................

They go on to mention that they are looking at ways to reduce the weight of the tin etc etc. They recommend using a Brabantia tin opener and this is the best in their trials.

They also sent me a complimentary Brabantia tin opener worth £12

RESULT !!!

Hahahah thats so funny, I don't like Fray Bentos pies for that very reason, too much faff lol xx

Ooooh that's so sweet I found a lump of hair in my haribo starmix once and sent it back - they sent me a big box of haribo but to be honest I didn't really fancy it after that

Lol I love they sent you a tin opener.
My sis finds pubic hairs in so many foods. Shes so unlucky. Once in m&s cafe, she complained and they were like we'll cut you another slice, she went mental and was 'why would i want another slice of the same cake, throw it out!!'.

I have a hilarious image of a starving hungry Leah trying to get into her pie and breaking numerous tin openers in the process ..eventually so desperate for her pie that she uses a hammer to smash it open and gobbles it uncooked from the floor

That is so funny,
Mara and i were only talking about complaining yesterday, i complained to nandos about the service and getting cold food and all i got was a letter saying they would hold a staff training!

My typical fecking luck that!

on the other note, they are good tin openers those, my mum has one and has had it for years
