Dont know whether it a normal stage, or Caitlin maybe coming down with something or its because I stopped work last week... but Caitlin has become quite cuddly which isnt like her. Can she sense the baby is coming soon or is it me thats picking up on things that arent there because im worried how il divide my attention?

She has started climbing on my knee and sitting facing me to chat/poke me. When watching TV instead of sitting on floor like she normally does she insists on sitting beside me for a cuddle. She will lift my arm and make sure its wrapped round her tummy. She is waking in the night and calling for me but settles quite well if I shout back its still night time...

She isnt 100% clingy but as she still happliy stayed at grannys one night this week and was most disgruntled I came back to get her early the next morning. It just seems when we in the house together she likes to be right beside me being cuddled.

Its almost like she knows this is the last few days of me and her. On the one hand I think its lovely and am enjoying it.... but on the other im worried its going to be worse for her when baby comes as she has had weeks of snuggles and being lifted every time she bleats.

Stephen didn't really get chance to get like this because I'd only been off work a couple of days before I got admitted to hospital to have Thomas. He has definitely been way more cuddly and snuggled up to me more though since Thomas has been here but I don't know if that's because I was away from him for so long as I was in hospital or just coincidence? He loves his brother though so I wouldn't worry about Caitlin, just get her involved with her new brother/sister and she will love it, she'll be thrilled xxx

I dont really remember Libby being more clingy before Dexter came but then shes always been one for cuddling on the sofa (when she actually sits still - which is rare) and telling us she loves us etc..

Maybe you are thinking about it more because you're worried about how she's going to be when baby comes. Please dont worry hun, she will no doubt adore her little brother or sister. Libby has moments where she says things like 'I dont want Dexter looking at me' or 'go away Dexter, thats mine!' but if we leave the room she'll go up to him and give him a cuddle and a kiss and tell him she loves him or if he starts crying she'll sing 'twinkle twinkle' as it calms him down instantly
