Immy is now 4, we had a bit of a delay with her pooing on the potty/toilet due to severe constipation. Anyway we cracked that a few months ago, but we still wipe her bum.

Does anyone know at what sort of age they can/should be doing this themselves? She wipes after wee's but i am worried about her getting a sore bum/soiled pants if we leave her to clean up after no 2's!

Ummmm....I have no idea but would it be worth letting her do it herself and checking once she's done. Then you can leave her to do it herself when she's cracked it (teeheee! Pun intended lol).

Ummmm I don't know...cos Izzy has always been able to wipe her bottom, to be fair she doesnt often get a dirty bum after a poop anyway but she knows how to clean it and looks at the wipe/loo roll to check its clean

As for when they 'should' ... maybe when they go to pre school - Izzy goes on her own as they have teeny toilets and sinks, and the ladies just watch to make sure she has washed her hands properly - but obviously they don't want to have to be cleaning all the kids after every loo visit

Immy has laxatives, so this does not help the situation. She does go to Preschool, but doesn't poop there! x

Yeh I can imagine that doesn't really help her, bless! Izzy's are little nuggets, so its easy!
