She was due on Tuesday and went to see MW yesterday and she had blood in her urine, and shes been losing fluid, the MW didn't think to check what fluid she was losing but we think its her waters, and now she's having really bad headaches. The hospital have told her to come in because it could be pre eclampsia and that the MW was silly not checking her waters. I'm totally out my mind with worry and I'm so far away from her shes in Grimsby I'm in York, I just want to go over but I've got work in the morning and Harry to consider, but I'm just so worried xxx

is anyone with her apart from her OH maybe your mum or friend who could keep in contact with you

Awww hun I'm sure she'll be fine! If she's over her de date then any sign of preeclampsia and the will deliver the baby! Hopefully youl be an aunty byhe tie tomorrow comes,keep us updated if you can x

Not missed anything hun, haven't mentioned that my sis is PG for a while, but shes having a little girl and was due on the 14th xxx

Well they are keeping her in, my mum is going over in the morning but I can't go cos I'm working til 2, I feel awful cos they are inducing her and I just want to shout at them make sure they scan her to make sure shes the right way wrong, and don't give her an epidural, all the things that when wrong with me. I keep getting teary eyed just thinking about not being able to be there to support her

Not all epidural go wrong, as i know many here will say, you were unlucky and of your sister does have one that everything goes to plan. I'm sure she'll be fine and you'll be cuddling your niece in now time

Feeling a bit better now as work have let me have tomorrow off and mums taking me and Harry through too xx

Ok I'm here to update, still no baby, but she doesn't have pre eclampsia thank god. I didn't go over there with mum as Harry woke up with an awful nappy rash and I didn't want to drag him here there and everywhere, poor little man is so sore he running round in just his socks at the minute, and we've only had one accident lol

Anyway just thought I'd update you ladies on how awkward my neice is being, bless my poor sis xx

Thanks girls, the poor girl is only 2cms bless her, she's having contractions every 2 mins now. Its weird cos I never went through this last stage of labour as I was rushed down to surgery after a few hours!

Anyway, I'm getting text updates from my mum, and that was the last one, oh and they have broken her waters now so shouldn't be too long xxx

Wooot! It's the best being an aunty! You can spoil them rotten..be always completely adored..and then send them back! xxx
