| how long does your toddler nap for? Ava went to bed at 1830 last night got up at 8:30 am and has been in bed since 11am, most of my friends say their kids don't nap at all the same age as Ava, is she just a lazy bum lol |

| Libby stopped having naps at around Ava's, she sleeps from 6:30pm til 8am most nights. If Ava's sleeping well at nights still and goes down well for her naps then she obviously needs it - just count yourself lucky |

| I believe that your child will stop napping when they no longer need it. Or you stop them napping when their night time sleep becomes disturbed.
Rowan at Ava's age (and up until June) was sleeping 7:30pm- 7:30am then sleeping 1pm to 4pm every day |

| Amelia only ditched her naps about 4 months ago. She occasionally still has one but she has always slept from 8 until 8:30 but used to nap from 3-6 too x |

| Immi has only just dropped her nap at 2 and a half. She was napping 11-2 (quite often 3) and then sleeping 7pm-8am. I think thats a lot compared to what my friends said their children slept, but it worked for us so it didn't really matter.
Enjoy it while you can. I miss Immi having her naps!! |

| hmmm I cant remember when Izzy stopped having 2 naps, but Im sure it was when she was about 2? She used to sleep 12 hours at night and then have a couple of naps in the day
So yeh she was lazy too!
She is 50/50 now, on days we do activities or nursery she will have a nap, but if we dont do much she doesnt nap at all |

| Oliver doesn't nap at all now, but at Ava's age he'd have a good 12hrs a night then nap from 1-4pm. He gave up his morning nap when he turned 1yr old. We only gave them up really cos he started afternoon nursery. He's a solid sleeper at night and as soon as his head hits the pillow he's gone for the night (apart from when he needs a tinkle at 1am so puts a bit of Monsters inc on to keep him company ) My friends little girl is about the same age as Ava and she still naps on an afternoon for a couple of hours. She obviously still needs it and will give it up in her own time I suppose |

| I think baby needs nap for sleeping. If you stop napping then it will disturb baby's sleep. |

| Immy napped in the afternoon until just past her 3rd birthday. Isla is 2 and 4 months and sleeps 7-7, plus about 2 hours in the afternoon 2-4pm. She does miss it occasionally, but gets very moody!
I think Ava sounds perfectly 'normal', and lucky you!!! x x x |
