well ive just been for my other scan to check if everythin was ok after more bleeding! i saw the baby straight away but couldnt see a heartbeat and was instantly starting to panick! but then the lady said to jamie "look its you little brother/sisters heartbeating away!" could honestly say i couldnt have been more relieved!
its grown since my last scan and is now measuring 8w+5d altho im convinced i was 9 weeks on monday as i know exactly when we concieved! what would u go with? the scan dates or my dates?
also they saw the the bleed but said it has halved in size since last time so any bleedin i get now will probably be from that so finally i can kinda chill out a bit! ive done nothin but worry with this pregnancy!
and finally ive rebooked my 12week scan as for some reason it was booked for next friday and i would only be 10 weeks so moved it back a few weeks! think thats all girls x x x

I had this with Holly...

They were insisting that my dates were 7 days out at early scans (also due to bleeding), and I refused to accept it (I knew when we did the deed too). They booked me in for my nuchal scan based on my dates of over 13+6 (which is the cut off), so I called them, had a ding dong and got my own way and got in earlier.

When I went in, Holly had caught up and matched my dates, all apart from 1 day.

You may think you know when you conceived hun but you may not have fertilised and implanted until later than you think. And that's the point that baby starts to grow. I'd just wait till the 12 week scan to know for sure when you are due.

Whoo glad everything went well hun, if that was me i would go by there dates but i agree with kell wait till 12 weeks scan and you can be sure then.

I'm like Laura. At 6d2 they were dating me at 51/2 weeks at the most. At 9d4 they dated me a bit ahead but when I had my actual dating scan they agreed with my date (I knew when I had ovulated). Its not very accurate early on because they're so small.

ok il wait till my dating scan and see hwat the dates are then..il keep my ticker and evrythin the same for now and change it if i need to in a few weeks! i suppose its only about 4-5days difference anyway so not like a massive change! thanks girlys x x
