Every single night she coughs herself to sleep or wakes up coughing and just lately its always followed up by vomming, now she barely eats much at all to start with but she is just bringing loads of sick up! I am seriously fed up of her having to go through this all the time, have been to docs a million times who say her chest is clear so its prob viral (yes her chest it mostly clear) but i how can it be viral when its going on always?
She has a blue inhalor but doesn't seem to make much of a difference =o( any ideas of what we can do? She is practically sleeping upright, we put vaporub and sudafed on her and her bed, she has a humidifier right next to her head there is no damp in the house, nobody smokes, no animals, clean due to washing everything daily with her vomming! really at a loss for her =o(

Have they tried her with a preventer? A blue is only a reliever. Sounds like she needs a steroid inhaler to reduce the inflammation in her chest

Yeah Jamie's cough was so much better on his brown inhaler and he used to go through stages where he coughed all night every night. Hope you manage to work something out because it must be horrible

They wont seem to entertain it, they have suggested using the blue one but 4 puffs before she goes to bed every night, but if its not a preventer then how will that help?
She has calmed with the sick a little bit but she is still always coughing her guts up all the time =o( x
