we're having a really hard time finding a girls name we love! either i'll find one i love and ben hates it e.g "Poppy" or ben will find one he loves and i hate it e.g "channel" not "chanel" but actualy channel as in a tv channel!! weird or what! he's in to american names or really unusual ones, and i do want something uncommon but not so weird that she will get picked on when older! im stating to think we will never be able to name her!

any suggestions of different or uncommon pretty girl names? x x

I like Layla or Meredith for a girl, but my OH won't let me have them, he wants a "normal" name lol. x

I like Keira and actually prefer spelt Ciara (we just would have had to have it the other way because of our surname). I also like Kaitlyn and Erin although I'm not sure how uncommon nay of those are. I really like Isabelle as well but you get a lot of those

I love Imogen's middle name - Lorelai, and i think thats pretty and unusual. We did think of using it as first name but were already set on Imogen.

I like Lyla, but someone told me it was a bit chavvy but i still like it.

We really liked Isabella too but its too popular now with Twilight

We are really struggling to agree on a name at the moment. We will have a favourite that lasts about a day and then go off it again. It's terrible!

We too want pretty, unusual, but not weird.
I also want it to be something that can be long or shortened, because being Emma I never had that (Dom, my OH, is less bothered about that as he's always had the benefit of a Sunday name and an everyday name).

We came up with a name we both like... Jennifer, and Rob suggested Jayne as a middle name like mine, do you think Jennifer Jayne Hobson sounds weird?? x

ben is in love with the name Skye..he calls her it now to my belly but i said id only have it as a middle name as kind of reminds me of a dog lol. he loves blink 182 and his the lead singers wife is called skye and i think he secretly has a crush on her so likes the name haha.
