sorry to ramble about prams again but who knew that pram searching could be so stressful!! im really struggling to find one im 100% happy with! i know i have like 14weeks left but my mum has just got her money for selling her house and wants to take us pram shopping!! im really stuck for which one to go for. so far i like the following (although they all have ther down points) :

1.) quinny zapp xtra- i LOVE the size of it and would be perfect for my car etc. however ive heard the wheels arent brilliant and can be noisy!

2.) mamas and papas sola- love the plum design and colour but OH isn't overly keen and i also think it looks quite wide and would probs take up most of the boot space!

3.) babystyle oyster- havent looked at this properly in a while but also heard that the frame gets stuck sometimes when trying to collapse and also a few people have had problems with the wheels!

has any1 got any of these prams and can u tell me ur honest honest opinions please Smile x x x

Haha, Tell me about it. Cos I never researched it properly with my first I ended up with a total of 4 prams/pushchairs in 2.5yrs Laughing
Its a minefield out there.

The quinny is nice but like you said they are a bit rickty rackty! The wheels are like plastic so quite noisy. My friend has one.

The Sola, Have you seen it in reality? I don't think it is as wide as you think. I've seen wider ones anyway.

And the Oyster is very nice...Kenty has one of these so might be an idea to ask her.

Are you wanting a rear facing?
Have you considered the Maxi cosy Loola (up) or the Maxi Cosy Streety? They are both umberella fold

i have a quinny that i kept in car for D and the wheels piss me right off ! they are so noisy unless im in a shopping centre
i really like the look of the sola and i dont think its as wide as soem
i think lisa is a huge fan of the loola , i found the frame a bit dodgy but maybe just the one i had :0)
do not get the cosatto mobi ! i hated it and glad we got rid as we have a 7 seater and it would not fit in our car propery with 6 seats up Smile
i love my silvercross3d just now and i have the carseat to match so i can have him parent facing for a while after changed into buggy mode but i will keep looking for a fisherprice ( kuji i think it was called ) for when he is older than 6 months as i loved that buggy !

have you looked at the mamas and paps rubix i think its called ? , iu think the mamas and papas pilko/pliko switch pramettes can be both forward and rear facing and they are umbrella fold ? i loved this design but figured the red flower wouldnt go down well with a boy lol http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-switch-mimi/185618704/type-i/

I have the switch rather than the pilko and I quite like it. It faces both ways and is really easy to get from sitting to laying (its just a lever at the back). Not the best for steering and really has to be folded in two parts. Fits in a Nissan micra and you can get bits behind it in the boot but does take up most of the space

I have the loola and adore it so much that I'm only going to buy a buggy for Lucas rather than a twin.

It does everything I wanted, carry cot, forward/backward facing. Fits car seat and can be folded down really easy.

Plus it's not got foam handles, which means russ can push it, he's allergic to the foam in the handles (weirdo)
