I'm totally fed up with the care I'm receiving from the different mws I've seen in this pg.

I've seen one twice and the other appts I've seen different one.

Today I told her, my feet swollen, headaches, numbness in leg, painful movements, a lot of pain in pelvis and hips and baby moving is really hurting me.

She put on notes I feel well....

Then said pip is free not engaged at all, but my bump is lowest it's been and I was 4/5 last week.

I asked about sweep and she said we would discuss it next week at 40wks and 6 days.

Please baby come soon mommy had enough of rubbish antenatal care

I'm sat here trying not to cry, I had such amazing care with Lucas, saw same mw each time, she got to know me and listened.

I know ith Lucas I had sweep at 41 weeks and he came 2 days later.

I didn't want to complain till I was discharged from their care, russ isn't happy either

I just hope the mws at hospital are good, or I'm going to have irate hubby

I'd say they are likely to do a sweep at the next appointment hun, I'd be inclined to insist that they do.

To have loads of different midwives is not on really, do u know if u will see the same one next week?

Hope u are feeling a bit better after a rest, it's tough being so pregnant Sad hugs xx

No will be different mw and different surgery, they alternate between 2 surgeries.
If I have to go next week, I'm going to insist on sweep and induction booked too.

I just keep thinking nearly there, but I must not look well russ is watching me like a hawk.

Ive got a huge slab of choc to eat later :-) and planning early night

Wow, that mw was at a different appt to you. I'm sure your birth mw will come through for you, they generally do then. Have you moved since having Lucas? Xxx

big hugs hun, poor you, sounds like ur having a horrid time.

In regards to mw's I too had crap continuity, seeing a different mw for EVERY single appointment! Not much better the first time, only seeing same mw in the final weeks and more by luck than design.

Thought after the lady who killed her children due to pnd (dont know full details so sorry if got wrong) they were meant to be changing it so that women had same mw throughout? Sur i heard that in the news? Coz when i heard it i cheered! Think its crap never seeing the same person.

Hope all begins soon for you lovely, then throw it at them both guns a blazing!

Mandy xx

I had to go to hosp a couple of months ago and they were nice, so hopefully be ok. But I'm def going to make a complaint, I work with professionals including mws and I'm not impressed at all.

Thanks ladies sometimes you just need to vent

That's crap, I wouldn't wait to make a complaint, get it sorted ASAP, find out who the supervisor of midwives is for your community, they should be providing you with a certain standard of care, and be firm at your next appointment, I've been very vocal at all of mine and they've agreed with everything I've wanted so far x

I've not even discussed a birth plan with anyone yet, I'm just going to say what I want in birth and say a mw agreed it, they can't check

I know I should but with so little time left, I don't fancy the hassle.

I'm going to have to take professional me in and sort it next week if I get there, hopefully not
