soo was just wondering if any of you pregnant ladies are having a baby shower? i know it tends to be more of an american thing but there getting more common in the uk now.. when pregnant with jamie my sisters did me one and it was lovely as being a 1st time mum it helped me out alot with things i needed etc.. however when it comes to a 2nd pregnancy i don't know if your supposed to have one or not and i know u arent supposed to throw a party yourself as its cheeky as basically ur asking 4 presents i think lol.

so my idea is that im gonna have a body shop party at home and kinda have that as a get together pamper night for all the girls before baby gets here..i'l decorate with pink balloons etc and put on a little buffet but thats it..i will say on invites its a body shop party/baby shower just so people aren't shocked when they get here and see all the balloons and stuff lol..

do u think that sounds a nice idea or is it just as cheeky? i dont expect people to bring presents (although i know bens family probably will) i just think it will be nice to get all family and friends together!

so is any1 else having one? x x

I think it sounds lovely..like a pregnancy pamper party Its not like your making demands and lists and such but would be nice to have a few pregnancy related games as you would at a baby shower.

My friend had one for herself (although I think it must have been her first one because I wasn't pregnant) and none of us felt obliged to bring presents

ive spoke to my mum and she said we can have it hers which id kind of prefer so then i can come home when i'm ready etc as u all know by 9pm you're pooped but if people are at ur house u dont exactly wana kick them out lol. also then i wont feel as sad doing it myself haha. just waiting for body shop to get back to me..never been to one before but heard there quite good! has any1 had or been to 1? x x
