I'm an avid watcher of the popular soap operas, they are like my little get aways. I'm always justifying them to OH saying how the mirror real life (PMSL ) But ...when they enter into story lines they claim they do all this research first so its more realistic

I've just watched Hollyoaks and Nancy went for an early scan after a previous miscarrage..and the put the scaner this on her and what do you know, it shows this approx 20wk baby ...she's like 6-8wks pg ffs...why cant they just show it as a blob that it actually is

I find that annoying too..not sure if I remember rightly but when Rhona (in Emerdale) went for her scan they suspected the baby had downs and then the following day a midwife came to the house to tell her it was confirmed. I don't remember there being any other tests inbetween plus do mw go to your house to give the results?!?!
