I bought one last week and haven't had a chance to use it. I've bought some books but has anyone got any good slow cooker recipes? I'm going to do a casserole tonight but was wondering about more interesting meals. Also, I'd have to leave it cooking for 12 hours (unless I buy a timer plug). Will that be ok?

I think mine was less than £20 from amazon Lisa. I've never bothered before because Adam doesn't eat things like that but I guess there's no reason why I can't freeze it and it makes life easier with Jamie as I can't start preparing dinner until his in bed at 7 and this way it will be ready
