Subject: How big should bunting be? Mon Oct 08, 2012 2:03 pm
I've bought some fabric to make some bunting for imogen's room as she has been obsessed with flags over summer. I'm wholly expecting it to look shite but I want to try at least cos bought stuff is really dear and you don't get much of it. Thing is I don't know how big to make the triangles!
I know it's stupid and doesn't really matter but I've allowed the doubt to stall me for 2 weeks already!
Could someone who has bunting up inside tell me the dimensions please?
Thanks xx

I think I did them to be 10cm along the top and a 15cm drop...so just draw your triangle 1cm bigger than that, they were quite pointy ones, if you want stubbier ones then make the length less

I think it depends what sort of wall you want it on. If you want it on a big bare wall i'd go for a slightly bigger flag..if its for a smaller area go for a smaller sized flag Theres no right or wrong For a bigger bold one I do a 20cm x 20cm, for an average one i'd do about 15cm x 15cm
