Hi ladies anyone got there LOs a leap pad? Would u recommend one and what apps are on it before u buy the games for it. Thanks x

We got an innotab but it broke so now instead we are buying the boys an android tablet each for Xmas and same price but you can get loads of cheap or free apps as the games for the innotab were £20 each

we have the leappads and would fully recommend them. wouldnt let my monkey anywhere nr an android tab cos she stands on her leappad and throws it down daily.
You get to choose 2 free apps from the store on it when you buy it. The games aint too bad either theres never a time you cant get them for 2 for 30 quid. My two have only 2 games but they never get bored cos they are pretty good games with lots on x

Olivers had his almost a year now and although he showed a bit of intrest when he first got it..he soon lost intrest too lol

....but saying that he's just this past month or so got really into it. He loves it and plays with it daily He's got Toy story game that he loves. Then we downloaded and e book and alphabet stew. Since then we've downloaded Rolly polly, a trains game..that work on logic, then another ebook. You have like Pet pad (virtual pet) and theres one that teaches writing and the alphabet and then theres a drawing app, camera/camcorder and they can edit pics.

I'd recommend you get rechargeable though

I got the girls a leap pad for Xmas this year as keep nicking my iPad I can't wait for them to have it!
