Gets so Emotional _
PostSubject: Gets so Emotional   Gets so Emotional EmptyMon Aug 23, 2010 6:22 am

I'm not quite sure whats changed tbh, but recently Oliver gets so emotional at lulabys etc.
I Noticed it start a while back when we were playing in his room and he found these little toys that sing lulabys when you press their tummy. He hadn't played with them for months and months, then he found them amongst his toys, heard the tune and balled his eyes out, I mean he was hysterical - crying Sad So I put them out of the way so it didn't happen again.
All was fine until one day he started crying at his gloworm scratch He loooooves his gloworm, he always used to play it over and over again at bed time to help get him to sleep, now he cries and turns it off himself (even though he was the one who turned it on)

He loves ITNG and he has iggle piggle and makka pakka, he now crys at the iggle piggle song, but is fine with makka pakka. He also has the bedtime iggle piggle, that 'slowly drifts off to sleep' Smile but again he cries at it.
Even when he watches ITNG on the tv..I have to mute the start and end so he don't hear the music.

We were at my pals the other day and he found a little giraffe that sings lulabys - again balled his eyes out scratch

I just don't get it. Its got worse over the past 2mth, and he does it with most toys now that sing/music..even jolly music!!

Nothing seems to have set it off, noting drastic, disturbing, upsetting that may have happened etc..I've tried sitting with him, making it fun, dancing about, reassuring him..all sort!! I'm not to sure what to do.

Thanks ladies - its so odd, I just can't get my head round why he's suddenly reacting like this. scratch

I've tried singing along to the tune's and acting daft generally, but he just gets so upset..it heart breaking so I have to throw what ever toy it is out the room.
