We took Harry to Kidzplay in Harrogate today and he loved it, and he was in the under 2 section with 2 other babbas and was so sociable (I always worry he won't bond with other babies being an only child), but there were older kids (like 6 and 7) that came in the under 2 section and were charging about everywhere with no regard whatsoever for the babies. I know that children don't really have that awareness, but some were standing on Harry's hands when he was crawling, and one pushed him in the ball pool I was so fuming. And the kids mum just laughed.
Anyway I would go back cos he loved it, but next time I'm going armed with some pepper spray LOL (joke ) xx

That really annoys me, if the parents don't do anything about it I just shout at the kids or tell the playcentre and let them deal with it. I'm a right old moany cow

Oh I did tell them to be careful but the kid just looked at me as if to say who the hell are you lol xx

argh that really winds me up. Stupid parents who don't give a crap what their kids are doing.

I had Izzy on a roundabout in the park not long ago and she was stood up holding on and I was pushing it slowly and this boy of about 7 was pushing really hard to make it go faster - I was having to hold it from going - and his mum did nothing, just sat there Then he got on his bike and whizzed round, knowcked my friends buggy right over, everything went flying, all the mum said was 'say sorry to the lady' no mention of why it was bad and he should be more careful...how to teach your kid they can do as they please...so long as they say sorry!

Argh!! I hate kids like this!!!!! i told some kids off at a play area the other week cos they were charhing around the little uns bit playing tag and barging past people. I dont think their parents were impressed but hey ho..at least it stopped them.

I notice this too with kids everytime we go to the playground they have a older bit and a little bit with the little swings n slide and everytime u get a group of bigger kids come in and take over. One grabbed callums swing once oh was fuming xx
