just checking online banking and i am just over 50 missing !
in asda today i was 53 quid ,,, there was a cock up regarding a void and i removed my card a little too soon ! lady told me just to re-enter card and we did it again
is it possible that asda have charged me twice ? its not listed in my transactions yet ,, just going by my available balance against my balance
nothing else is anywhere near due to come off and i have accounted all spendages today ,, had not used this account iin a week so know its not a previous thing its deffo been done today

Did she give you a receipt to say it had be voided? She should have!

Can u get a mini statement on the phone?

I did this once at the vets and they took the money but it was bank in my back the next day

i got a reciept for my shopping ,,, the void was for a dress that was scanning more than it was labelled at hence her having to call someone to put a code on

going to go to the bank tomorrow and get them to confirm if asda charged twice and if they have im going straight to asda !

sounds like you did! i would wait til it is on your statement then go and give them a telling, they should be able to transfer it straight back in (and demand some vouchers in compensation!)

I wouldn't worry about it. It's a temporary authorisation pending on your account. It happends if your bank provides an authorisation code at any time. As Asda will not be collecting the money, as it was voided, then the transaction will dissapear within 7 days. I see it all the time at work. Keep the void receipt until you notice the transaction has dropped from your account, that was if you need to lodge a dispute then it'll be nice and easy for you. Adsa should be able to reverse the authorisation code to make the pending transaction drop from you account straight away, that way it'll stop reserving funds on your account, but they may be a bit arsey about doing it (wouldn't ask unless you need access to the funds asap).
