Iv ordered a wii for Stuart for xmas. (Keep it a secret Laura!) I know he wanted a ps3 but he can jump as it was working out at about £329+. I decided to go ahead and get the wii because, eh , I want one . I wouldnt normally spend this amount on him but decided that my xmas £££ from family will go towards it. Got this bundle on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_157814307_5?ie=UTF8&docId=1000157953&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=1JATAXVYGDTT2XVDE5SR&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=217148707&pf_rd_i=506846 Im getting the black wii console with the sports/resort games, mario brothers game & the purple pro A nunchak??? thingy. Basically is the purple thing a 2nd remote or just an add on for the 1st remote. Will I be able to play 2 player with what iv bought already? Also is there anything else Id need? Batteries, what type? Or are chargers better? Thinking of asking my mum etc to buy add on's if we needed them. Any help/tips/opinions needed!!!

Hiya Hun, If I am right in thinking the nunchuck is an add on to the 1st remote, this will be used for the sports resort game. I remember when we bought ours we had to buy an extra controller and nunchuck. Batteries are AA...with regards to the chargers I am not sure if they would be better i think it all depends on how much you play on the wii. Hope this helps xx

Thanx, that is helpful with regards batteries . But what im still confused about is does the purple thingy iv bought if you click on the link include a 2nd wii remote + a nunchuk. Or is it just an add on. Hope im making sense. Really want to be able to play 2 player on xmas night .

Basically is a wii mote the same as the mini mote? The purple thing im getting is normally £30 and includes a mini mote plus a nunchuck. Nunchucks are about £12 on their own so id hope it was a 2nd remote and not just a funky upgrade for the 1st remote.... Frig im just confusing myself more!!!

the controllers just eat the batterys hun if its on for more than 2 hours they will be pretty much gone, the nun chuck is an add on that goes into the bottom of the 1st controller, this gets used in both wii sports and sports resort, I love mine and wont ever give it up lol x

You need two remotes to two players. The bundle you bought came with one, and by the looks of it(purple controller) you bought a second. So you would be able to play. You need the nunchuck attachment for certain games, which plugs into the bottom of the remote/controller. LOL...See why I bought a kinect...no more controllers!!! We love our wii, the game defo gets you off you bum and moving. xxx

you will need TWO of these thingies., most bundles only come with one..but you can buy a replica brand which will be much cheaper to play. And they come in a variety of colors. Also..as far as batteries, if you buy energizer or duracell, they do last quite a long time. The controller/remotes do shut themselves off when not in use.n xxx

Im pretty sure iv bought a 2nd remote then thanx, nearly certain that the one that comes with it didnt have a nunchuck though. I'l look into prices for the dock thingys too. Pretty sure i'l have to stock up on batteries anyway for Caitlins toys! x
