I've only officially been on this 'diet' since Friday and its more of a cut down than diet but I've been cutting out snacks between meals. It's really hard as I'm used to just picking all day long and I'm having to retrain myself where food is concerned. However I have found that because I'm really hungry by meal times I'm actually enjoying them much much more and everything seems to taste so much better [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] maybe I was just taking food for granted and not actually taking notice of what i was eating but now I'm planning meals and waiting for them I'm really enjoying them
xx

i know what u mean hun. Cos im cooking this week im enjoying them more too cos im proud of myself for making them. Getting loads of satisfaction. I think we do take food for granted.
I read somewhere that we should treat food like petrol. Our car needs petrol to make it move but if your overfill it, it will break. Only give your body what it needs to function.
Easier said that done!!

i did the whole weight loss thing a couple years back(lost over 50lbs) and one thing i can't stress enough...do not cut out snacks, you should have at least 3small snacks a day, it keeps your metabolism burning!
