Jacks going through a hitting stage, has been for a few months. I deal with it the best i can, making him apologise, time out etc.

At playgroup today there was only a few of us, 5 kids in total. Jack gets spiteful so i deal with it the way i described above, still continues so i said lets go home. Getting him ready and i hear my 'friend' say to her little girl Emily, Jacks so naughty, he's going home. Then, must be a 'boy' thing as Emily doesn't do it!

Am i wrong to be pissed off by this? i would never say that to Jack if Emily had been doing it. I felt so embarrassed as it is and she made me feel worse!

This is the same little girl who was at my house yesturday chucking stones out of my plant pots all around the house! All kids can be naughty at times!

Rant away - that's out of order! Perhaps preciously perfect Emily was being told this as a warning, as she's actually far from --> ?

"Must be boy thing" yeah, for sure, sweeping statements like that are totally applicable in child development / behaviour

Glad im not the only one to think it!

Trouble is we do a lot together as were both expats in Denmark, she's only been here two months and i've kind of taken her under my wing and introduced her to people. I now wish i hadn't bothered!!
