-Do we need them?
-Do your LO's like them?
-Are they something they grow in to, even if they don't take to them at first?
-What's the best set to get, there seem to be two types (one like large lego, the other thinner plastic and with taller sticky-up bits?!)
-aaaannnd... how much is a good price?

Ta for any ideas! xx

What did your LO think of the Clippo?

Megablocks are easier to put together and take apart than the clippo, TBH she isn't yet making much but she likes to stick them together and knock over whatever I make!

I got mine on offer last year, I got her the big pony bag, a smaller bag for at my mums and then a ITNG pack to go with that

He much prefers his regular building blocks - I think because it's quick to stack more impressive when knock down Rolling Eyes

Jamie got the duplo lego off his grandparents for his 1st brthday, it was a bit to old for him then, he has only recently started playing with it and loves it, coz theres pieces in it like windows and cars and little people, as well as the basic pieces, he always brings the window over to me and puts his face right up to it and says " i see" Laughing . He's getting more off his grandparents for this xmas he's getting an animal one with all little animals in which he will love, theres loads of different ones to choose from Very Happy

So if we skip the mega bloks and go for duplo for bean's 2nd birthday instead... scratch

I'm doing all present shopping at once -or at least ideas of things to buy in Jan sales- less to do later on when the madness of two babies hits! Laughing

I told mum to get megablocks for me when they where on offer & Id give her the money. (My mum has developed an addiction to internet shopping Laughing and spys loadza bargains). She told me she had got them & when she left them over I discovered it was duplo. I would have prefered megablocks tbh, but thinking about it now maybe duplo's not so bad as we can add sets to it. Very Happy

Caitlin is probably gona be a tad young for them but they'll keep!
