yes i know on the walls!

Right i dont just want a plain cream living/dining room.

it's a long room. now i was thinking that the wall paper should go on the back and front wall and not the side walls. the back wall will have the dining table running across is then the front wall will be where the tv will be.

is this right? i dont want to make the room look small. but the window is on the wall with the wall paper and they are pattened like the wall paper. or do i just do the wall paper just on the wall where the dining table is.

i'm so confushed

I would go for the wall that you would look at most, ie. where the fireplace or tv is on. We've painted our chimney breast as a feature and it looks really good. xx

Wow, that's better Very Happy

Yep, I think it would, it's either those or the longest wall (which would be easier but take alot of wallpaper).

Looks like a lovely big room though hun, bet you can't wait move Very Happy xxx

Just looking at how you're having your furniture - just a suggestion but what about putting the dining table at the kitchen end, that way you don't have to walk through the lounge area with food and then you could wallpaper the opposite end to the window and put your TV on it? Bascially swap dining and lounge areas around.

Just a thought though Very Happy

My room set up is similar and I swapped the tv and dining table around and it is so much better, we now don't have to walk through the living area with food Smile I'll see if I can add my pics xxx

Standing from the door

Help with wallpaper OurMaisonette012

The other side of the living/dining room

Help with wallpaper OurMaisonette011

The tv isn't there any more, the sofa is and the tv is opposite, I've divided the room into 2 obvious sections and with the table being next to the door it's easier with food etc

Our tv points are by the computer (opposite the table) so we used a longer aeiral wire and takked it to the skirting board so no-one can see it xx

I would be inclined to paper the long wall so it runs through the kitchen/dining area.
