Hi Pumpkin - 22 month old? October 09 mummy??

Hi Everyone,

I am Sarah, I am 42 from Birmingham and have 2 wonderful children. I already know a lot of you from AB days!

My son Dan is almost 17 and has just started Sixth Form to do his A Levels. He has been through a lot over the years and has turned out to be a great lad and a fantastic son. I also have a Daughter Annabelle who is 2.5 years old. She is a clever little madam and is 2.5 going on 5.

I work part-time as an Administrator for Birmingham University and Annabelle goes to the University Nursery.

I also have a dog - Henri, he is a Shih Tzu and was my baby before Annabelle came along, but can be an absolutely pain in the bottom, but I love him to bits!

I have separated from my husband at the beginning of this year so I am now a single mummy, it has been very traumatic but I am getting there slowly. I have always had a partner since the age of 17, so now its time to have a break for a few years!

I'm new to this so hopefully i'm doing this right?

I'm Amie, 26 and currently living in Cambridgeshire. Hubby and I will have been married for 2 years in Dec and our 1st baby is due on our 2nd anniversary

I'm awfully shy and I am quite nervous about becoming a mummy although i'm very excited about our bundle of joys arrival. A lot of my friends are not at the 'wanting a baby' stage yet, so I don't really have any like-minded people to chat to, to seek advice etc.

We have a very soppy spaniel called Jez who does not like snow - so hopefully it won't be too bad this year, especially since we don't have a snow plough to help me to hospital when bubs decides to come!

We chose not to find out what we're having - a nice little Christmas surprise I have a feeling that we are having a boy but all but one of everyone i've asked has said girl.

Gosh you are very good not finding out, I do think people must be very strong willed to keep that choice!
There was NO way I could not find out I'm too curious!

Aww thats lovely, a christmas surprise. I was far too impatient not to find out.

Me, strong willed ~ far from! I'm actually the most impatient person in the world but I guess pregnancy is a time to be patient. I don't like surprises either, but this will be a wonderful surprise either way!

People keep saying boys are nicer than girls growing up ~ do you reckon there is any truth in that?
